Bhaktapur Nagarkot Tour Route:


One of the Nepal Holiday Organizer representative will come to pick you up in your hotel early in the morning. Our aim is to reach Nagarkot before sunrise which will take 1-2 hours to reach from Kathmandu. After witnessing the sunrise view from the view point and having breakfast, the next destination is Changu Narayan Temple.
First of all, we will drive to Telkot and from here we will hike to Changu Narayan Temple which is one of the UNESCO world heritage site. It takes 3-4 hours hiking to Changu Narayan Temple. Changu Narayan Temple is a famous temple built in 2nd century during the Lichhavi Dynasty. It was again rebuilt in 1702 after a major fire breakage.
Finally, after visiting Changu Narayan Temple & Bhaktapur, we will head back to Kathmandu & transfer you to your hotel. If you are familier with other UENSCO heritage sites then you may like this UNESCO world Heritage Tour.

Fist Location: Kathmandu to Nagarkot (Approx Drive – 1 hour 30 minutes)

Starting at early in the morning, we will leave behind the hustle & bustle city of Kathmandu to Nagarkot via private vehicle. Upon arrival, it will take a short walk to the Nagarkot viewpoint where you will have a sunrise view showing vibrant color above Himalayas.

After a glimpse of sunrise view and Himalayan ranges, indulge in a delightful breakfast accompanied by the relaxing sound of birds and winds. Staying around 1-2 hours in Nagarkot, we will head down to Changu Narayan.

Kathmandu to Nagarkot Distance: 27.2 km
Time to reach: 1-2 hour

Second Phase: Hike to Changu Narayan Temple

After enjoying the view & Nepali breakfast, we will head to Telkot via private vehicle. From Telkot, hike through a forested trail to Changu Narayan Temple which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

The history shows that Chanu Narayan Temple is one of the oldest Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, a hindu deity. Not only that, but you will witness some of the finest carvings in woods & stones that highlight the temple.

Telkot to Changu Narayan Distance: 11.8 km
Duration: 3-4 hour trek

Third Phase: Changu Narayan Temple to Bhaktapur Durbar Square: (20 min) & Back to Ktm

Bhaktapur which is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delight in the architecture marvels of square, divided into three sections; Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, and Dattereya Square.

Hidden gems like, Nayatapole Temple, the Golden Gate, the palace of 55 windows, & many other structures are the highlight of this place.
Similarly, we will taste the famous ‘Juju Dhau’ (King of Yogurt), before returning to Kathamndu
