Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Kyriung
Today will be the arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport where one of our representative will stand by at airport to pick you up. After meet up, your groups will be transferred to your hotel inside Thamel, Kathmandu. Accommodation at standard hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
A little explore to some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites inside Kathmandu. Today, we will have a sight seeing tour starting from 8:00 am. We will cover some of the major places like Pashupatinath Temple, Monkey Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and visit popular market of Thamel.
At evening, we will have a short briefing about the upcoming tour and precheck mandatory things. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung
Our Destination will be Kyirung today and we will enter China Today which is a long drive from Kathmandu. All the immigration formalities will be done at the border and we will meet our Tibetan Guide and Driver there.

Day 05: Drive Kyirung to Saga (4,450m - 232 km)
-Long Drive on the dessert terrain, driving past the nomad camps, sheeps and yaks herds.
-Glimpse of Gaurishankar, Shishapangma, and Langtang Himal from the pass.
-Drive through Khunmen Tso, Sinling, Karru Ongchen and Peiku tso Lake at an altitude of 4400m
-Cross Brahmaputra (“Yarling Tsangpo” in Tibet) to reach Saga altitude of 4600m

During Mid May to Late June the weather is relatively mild, making the perfect time to visit Kailash Mansarovar Tour.
In terms of difficulty, the 12 Days Tibet Kailash Mansarovar Tour is not so difficult as it only involves 2 days trekking and other days via transportation. The only thing to consider during the trek is altitude and diet.
Except Indian passport holders, no one are allowed to do the Kailash tour as a solo traveler. Minimum of 5 travelers are needed to do the tour which is why you need to join the group or make the group.
No one are allowed to take a bath at Mansarovar. However, pilgrims can take a bucket of water to a designated spot to do the bathing ritual.
Things to know before Booking Tibet Kailash Mansarovar Tour:
According to the rules and regulation of Chinese Embassy in Nepal, to obtain a Tibet Group Visa, minimum of 5 people is compulsory
Original passport is needed to apply and it requires 4 to 5 official working days to complete the process
Also to obtain the Tibet Group Visa, clients need to visit the China Visa Application Center in person to provide biometric information
During the trip at Kailash parikrama, all tourist will need to walk around 38 km from Yamdwar to Chongdo due to unavailability of vehicle services. However, horse ride, porter or pony can be hired.
There is a certain age limit for enrolling Kailash tour where 12-69 years old is required for Indian passport holder and minimum 12 years age for other country. From 66 to 69 years age people, they can travel only up to Yamdwar.
Insurance is recommended that includes medical, Heli Rescue and Jeep rescue before coming for Tibet Kailash Mansarovar tour.
