Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Overnight Stay in Thamel

Today will be your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, and one of our representative will be at the airport to pick you up. A private vehicle will be arranged for the pick up to take you to your hotel.

We will have a pre-meeting for the Annapurna Base Camp which is compulsory. During the leisure time, activities like money exchange and renting gears will be done with our assistance.

You can also ask and clear any doubts or questions during the meeting. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02: Morning Drive to Pokhara and City Exploration

A long journey awaits today for us. We will start our trip to Pokhara early in the morning via Tourist Bus but do not worry, the vehicle will be clean and comfortable and our guide will also be there with you.
The Bus will leave at around 7:30 to 8:00 am. During your trip, you will pass through many villages and lush forests to reach Pokhara city.

The city is also known for it's panoramic views of Mount Machhaouchhre (shape of fish tail) in the north, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu in the east side and Mount Dhaulagiri in the west.

Another highlight of the Pokhara City is the Phewa Lake which reflects the Mount Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and other peaks.

Similarly, we will be staying near Phewa Lake which will make the second day a fruitful day. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive to Siwai via Private Vehicle & Trek Start to Chhomrong

Another day and another ride to Siwai via private vehicle which will take 3 hours of drive. From Siwai, your trek finally start to Chhomrong which will be the first trek of Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

So, todays path is a long around 42 km to Nayapul from Pokhara and another 16 km to Siwai. If you are unknown about the Nepal road, you will have the new experience. From Siwai we will follow the Modi River Valley which is from the Annapurna, a fresh water river.

So, the first trek will be a gradual walk and you will encounter the high suspension bridge nearby Jhinu Danda, From here, it will be stepping uphill to Chhomrong for two hours.

Day 04: Chomrong to Dovan Trek

After breakfast in Chomrong, we will walk downhill to river passing a short bridge to reach Shinuwa which is at 2,360m altitude. This place is equipped with few shops where you can buy snacks and lovely lodges.

From Shinuwa, the trek continues into the beautiful Rhododendron & Pine forest, After a short decent, we will reach to Bamboo, a small settlement with 5-6 lodges. From Bamboo, it is then a uphill climb to Dovan situated at 2,500m altitude.

Day 05: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp

Todays journey includes 4 to 5 hours trek covering a distance of 4.3 miles which will be a moderate level in terms of difficulty.

From Dovan situated at an altitude of 2,500m with a view of towering peaks early in the morning, we will now again follow the path beside Modi River while gaining altitude. After walking for some hours from Dovan, we will then reach the Hinku Cave, which offers a perfect sport to take a rest and reflect the beauty of nature.

From Hinku Cave, it is a uphill trek until you reach Deurali, a small village situated at an altitude of 3,230meters (10,597 ft). From Deurali, the atmosphere will change due to thin air and rocky terrain.

Finally, we will reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp located at an elevation of 3,700m (12,139 ft) which is one of the best place to capture the iconic Machhapuchhre mountain and Annapurna Massif.

No, even though it's a total 10 days itinerary, you will only trek for 6 days. Day 1 and Day 10 is your arrival and departure day. Whereas, day 2 and day 9 is a long drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

In terms of trekking, moderate level includes a low altitude gains day by day, availability of tea houses in the area and around 5 to 6 hours of daily trek.

Similarly, the weather also makes the difference in the difficulty level of the trek and in Annapurna Bae Camp Trek, the weather gets favorable for trekking most of the time.
